Victim-Centered Investigative Techniques Program (VCITP) Practice Test

SVIP notification is designed to quickly coordinate investigation and victim support among specific internal partners. The entities typically alerted are the investigative liaison (OSI) to maintain oversight and coordination, Legal to handle rights and prosecution logistics, and FAP/SARC to provide victim advocacy and support. Local Police Department isn’t part of that standard SVIP notification list, because SVIP focuses on internal agency coordination rather than external law enforcement. Local police would be engaged through other channels or when interagency cooperation outside SVIP is needed.
